logictra

Collaborative logistics platform

Every company on its own system. All of them on the same operation.

logictra connects the importer, the freight forwarder, the haulier and the warehouse working on the same shipment. Each one runs its part in its own company workspace, with its own data and prices, and shares with the others only what it chooses to share.

One operation, from order to pro forma invoice

  1. Operation
  2. Clearance
  3. Pick-up
  4. Transport
  5. Warehouse
  6. Delivery
  7. Pro forma

The problem

One shipment and five systems that don't talk to each other

A routine import involves the importer, the freight forwarder, the customs broker, the haulier and the warehouse. Each of them runs its part in its own software. Whatever happens between them travels by email, by phone and in spreadsheets.

When something changes, someone finds out late. And checking the status of a container takes two phone calls.

How it works today

  • Each company retypes the shipment data it receives from the previous one.
  • Status updates are requested by email and arrive whenever they arrive.
  • Sharing one data point means sending the whole document, prices included.
  • When a supplier relationship ends, their copies of your data are still there.

How it works with logictra

  • The operation is shared between companies: what one updates, the other sees in its own workspace.
  • Each company decides, field by field, what the other party sees.
  • Margins, costs and internal rates stay at home.
  • When a connection is closed, access ends for both parties and whatever was shared stays archived, never deleted.

Who it's for

A logictra workspace for every party in the shipment

They all share the same data model, so an operation can move from one company to another without translation. What changes is the interface: each one sees the screens for its own trade.

Importers and exporters

Clear your own goods and follow every operation without chasing updates by email.

Hauliers

Orders that arrive with their data, today's trips and a fleet with its paperwork in order.

Business network

Work with other companies without opening your doors

Two logictra companies connect through a tunnel. Only the part of the operation that each of them chooses to share travels through it.

How the business network works
  1. Single-use connection code

One company issues a connection code and the other one redeems it. The code expires once used, and the opening is recorded in both companies' audit logs.
  2. Field-level permissions

You choose which fields of the operation the other company sees. The haulier can see pick-up, delivery, packages and weight without seeing the value of the goods.
  3. Mirror copy with history

The other party works on a mirror copy that updates with every change. Every version is stored and cannot be altered.
  4. Revocation without deletion

Either company can close the connection, stating the reason. Access ends at that moment and whatever was already shared stays archived, never deleted.

Product

The whole shipment cycle on one platform

Each company turns on the modules for its line of business. A warehouse doesn't see fleet screens, and an importer that clears its own goods doesn't see transport ones.

Operations

A control tower with every operation, its status and its real route by sea and road.

Customs and TARIC

Import declarations and tariff classification by territory, with full history.

Transport and fleet

Today's trips, vehicles, drivers and documents about to expire.

Warehouse

Your warehouse floor plan in 3D, with zones, locations and dock arrivals.

Rates and quotes

One calculator per rate type, versioning and a sale, cost and margin simulator.

Invoicing

Pro forma invoices from the operation, supplier invoices and treasury. Legal invoices in Holded.

Documents

Every document attached to its operation, with intake and requests to third parties.

Reports

Built-in and custom reports, exportable and scheduled, within each user's permissions.

Integrations

AEAT, ShipsGo, Holded and email, using your own company's credentials.

Warehouse

Your warehouse, as it really is, in 3D

The warehouse home screen draws your building with its real zones: general racking, customs and temporary storage, cold room. On top of it you see the trucks at the dock and the ones on their way.

The floor plan is edited inside the application and uses the data from your locations and arrivals, with no separate mock-ups.

Security

Every company isolated by design

Separation between companies is enforced in the database itself, and every action is traceable.

See security

Isolation in the database

Every query is filtered by company in PostgreSQL. If the company context is missing, the query returns nothing.

Chained audit log

Every change is recorded with who, when and what. Records are chained together, so altering one breaks the chain.

Your own credentials

Connections to external services (Spanish Tax Agency, ShipsGo, Holded, email) use your company's own credentials.

Data in the European Union

The database and the application run in data centres in Frankfurt (Germany).

Frequently asked questions

What people usually ask before getting started

Will my freight forwarder or haulier see my prices?

No. Each company works in its own workspace, and margins, costs and internal rates never leave it. Only the fields of the operation that you choose to share travel through the connection between companies.

What if the other company doesn't use logictra?

You can keep it in your directory with your internal references and work with it as you do today. The connection between companies is enabled when both of them use logictra.

Does logictra issue legal invoices?

logictra prepares pro forma invoices from the operation. The legal invoice and VERI*FACTU compliance are handled in Holded, with your company's account.

Where is the data stored?

In European Union data centres, in Frankfurt (Germany). The database is PostgreSQL and each company is isolated from the others in the database itself.

Do I have to use every module?

No. Each company turns on the modules for its line of business and the menu only shows those.

How do I get started?
