Customs and TARIC

Every status of the declaration, in plain sight

logictra takes the import declaration through a flow with clear steps: validate, approve, submit and check. Nothing is submitted without a person's approval, and tariff classification keeps its history in each tax territory.

Clearance

From draft to release

  1. Draft
  2. Validated
  3. Approved for submission
  4. Submitted
  5. Accepted
  6. Released
  • Nothing is submitted without a person's approval
  • With the importer's certificate
  • Green, orange or red channel

Safeguards

How each declaration is protected

Layered validation

Cardinalities, code lists, mass and packages, valuation, TARIC and certificate profile. Each error shows the field, the code and the message.

Approval tied to the version

Approval is bound to the exact content of the declaration. If anything changes afterwards, it has to be approved again.

Submission logged before it leaves

Each submission is logged, encrypted, with a key that prevents duplicates. Every attempt and every response, with its MRN and CSV, is stored.

Communication with the authorities

The whole exchange in the record

The declaration record brings together the items with their TARIC code, origin, procedure, weights and customs value, the documents, the validations, the messages sent and received, the requests with their deadlines and the duty assessment.

Declarations that need attention are flagged in the list and can be searched by code, MRN, LRN or reference.

TARIC

Tariff classification with a memory

By tax territory

Each article's current code is shown by territory: mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla.

Human review

A classification proposal doesn't become current without approval, and rejecting it requires a reason.

Nothing is erased

When the classification changes, the previous one stays in the history with its validity closed, together with its evidence and the alternatives that were discarded.

Good to know

Where it stands today

  • The Spanish Tax Agency connector builds the import declaration (H1) and currently runs in the pre-production environment. Production submission will be enabled once validation is complete.
  • Export, transit and other procedure declarations are at the design stage.
