Each document keeps all its versions. A saved version is never modified: anything new is another version.

Verification and expiry
Each document can be verified or rejected, and the list flags those expiring soon and those not yet verified.

Storage
Files stored with care
No duplicates
Each file is identified by its content. If it's uploaded twice, it's stored once.
Type checked
The file type is detected from its actual content, not its extension. Executables are quarantined.
Your own bucket
If you prefer, files are stored in your company's S3-compatible storage (S3, R2, MinIO…). Otherwise, in the platform's.
Traceability
Who opened what
- Every view or download of a file goes through the application and is recorded in the audit log.
- Document status changes (current, superseded, expired or cancelled) follow a transition table.
